How I Freed Up My Content Creation Time (Thanks to a New Tool)
When I first thought about dropping out of school, I envisioned having tons of free time. Turns out, those empty time slots on my calendar tend to fill themselves — effortlessly. Funny, right?
The truth is, I’ve been overloading myself with multiple passion projects and work. This week, I decided to try a new script kiddie project that might help me produce more content without burning out.
I created a tool that’s virtually free and has already saved me at least three hours of work. That’s a game changer.
Here’s how I do it: I created a content planning outline in my notebook
Be nice, I had 4 finals due the next couple days lol.
But even with my plan, I quickly felt overwhelmed. Switching between apps, copying and pasting, hopping between ChatGPT and Notion — it’s tedious.
Why Notion Is My Hub
Notion is where everything lives. It’s easy to store my ideas, notes, and drafts. For anyone not using it yet — and I swear I have no affiliate link — it’s free, and honestly, just great.
I access Notion mainly in two ways:
On my phone: I use voice-to-text in my keyboard to quickly record thoughts on the go.
On my computer: I type out rough drafts or jot down random ideas when I hit a mental block.
The Magic of Automation
Enter ScriptDaddy — a program I run daily that scans my Notion for entries labeled “RawForm” with a “ready” status. It then uses OpenAI’s GPT to generate outlines for various content types:
Newsletters
LinkedIn articles
Reels or TikTok scripts
Twitter threads
Long-form YouTube scripts
If this sounds like something you’d want to try, reach out! Message me, reply here, or even give me a call if you’ve got my number. I’d love to help you test it out and see how we can make it even more personalized.
Final thoughts:
Automation isn’t just for the big companies. Small creators like us can leverage these tools to save time, produce more quality content, and finally breathe a little easier.
So, if you’re tired of wasting hours on repetitive tasks, maybe it’s time to give ScriptDaddy a shot. You might just find your new favorite content sidekick.
