I want what bad peanut butter has... good consistency.
My "one word" for the year and how I have been trying to make being consistent not boring.
What do crows and I have in common?
We both love shiny new things.
For as long as I can remember, I have always loved cool new things, no matter who made the introduction. Through my many phases like lacrosse, soccer, baseball, which were pretty short lived… Only a few really stood the test of time.
Guitar/Music - Skateboarding - Fitness - Technology
*Sounds like your stereotypical 15 year old boy interests to be honest*
What I have noticed is that out of all of my phases I am a few degrees more advanced in those that have lasted longer than a few months. And that is because of consistency.
The fat boy, the real 80/20, the steroid for anything in motion. Its more important than any ingredient you’ve got in your spice drawer.
WHY?!
It harnesses the 8th wonder of the world, that’s why.
Compounding.
Hold up let me start speaking your language..

Compounding doesn’t only work inside your long term investment Robinhood account. In anything we do when we do it consistently, our investment in the forms of time and sweat build that skill exponentially. ← in turn eventually whatever the cause and effect is of the skill you’re learning, will flow in faster than you can handle. BUT only if you really sacrifice the mental effort and time.
Now I am not saying I am perfect at this. However, I’ve been on the bad side of the coin for long enough and even starting to flip it over, I can see how much better things get.
Just to be accountable
I Have stuck to the same project after a big pivot since December and continue to do so.
I have consistently made Instagram content every week so far and I am actually filming another reel right now.
I have kept making incremental progress on Panic Button my app that is coming out created by our company Xelara.
